About the role

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will work under the medical supervision of the head team physician and is responsible for working with the day-to-day athletic training operations for the assigned sport (s). Collaborate with Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition and Mental Health providers and assist the Director of Athletic Training with other administrative duties as assigned. What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of experience as a certified athletic trainer in a collegiate or professional sports organization.
• Knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service and sensitivity to a culturally and ethnically diverse community.
• Master’s degree from an accredited athletic training educational program degree or related field.
• 5 years of experience with collegiate or professional baseball or softball
• Strong background in upper extremity evaluation and management, including throwing specific rehab, prevention strategies and return to sport programing
• Experience coordinating and managing physicians appointments and care plans
