About the role

On-site Requirements: This position is 25% telework and 75% onsite at NSWC Corona to meet with team. Saalex is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the engineering, integration, operation, and sustainment of complex range systems, telecommunications, and information systems in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division programs. This role supports primarily remote work with periodic on-site support in Corona, CA.

What you'll bring

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in network engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Security+ depending on level)
• Experience supporting complex networked systems
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and client/server architectures
• Experience with fiber optic networks and telecommunications systems
• Preference for candidates near Corona, CA.
• Experience supporting DoD test, training, or range systems
• Experience with DISA STIGs and cybersecurity compliance
• Experience with RF communications systems
• Prior experience with NSWC or Navy programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or Engineering
