About the role
The Lead VOC Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination, scheduling, quality assurance, governance, and execution oversight of the QE LNG Verification of Competence (VoC) Program for lifting operations personnel. The role ensures all competence assessments, coaching interventions, simulator activities, reporting processes, and workforce readiness activities are delivered in accordance with QE LNG standards, EnerMech procedures, lifting safety requirements, and agreed project timelines. The Lead VOC Supervisor will provide technical leadership to all Coaches / Assessors and act as the focal point for client coordination, workforce planning, assessment governance, and project reporting.
What you'll bring
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in lifting operations within oil & gas, construction, LNG, or offshore environments
- Minimum 5 years in supervisory or competency management roles
- Proven experience managing lifting operations competency programs
- Previous experience delivering VOC / competency assurance schemes
- LOLER requirements
- Standards BS7121
- Crane operations and lifting supervision
- PTW systems and SIMOPS management
- Lift planning and risk assessment processes
- Crane load charts and lifting calculations
- Incident prevention and lifting safety management
- Competency assurance and workforce governance systems
