About the role

The Supervisor, EC SCM Team 1 position will assist in managing Inbound/Outbound traffic regarding transportation of auto parts into U.S. manufacturing plants (Related Vendors for Hyundai/Kia and Suppliers) with container moves. This role is responsible for supporting the team with shipments to minimize cost while maximizing profit for Glovis as well as to ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.

• Ability to establish business plan and proceed new business developments/projects Required
• Proficient with PC's Required
• Intermediate MS Excel, Power Point, Word and database management Required
• Understanding of the full range of Freight Forwarding services, including movement scheduling, monitor and control services, cost optimization, and various industry specific requirements Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean required due to extremely high volume of communication
• Bachelors Degree Required
• 4 - 8 Years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Logistics Required
• 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience Required
