About the role
As a System Engineer, you will own the system development of high-voltage power converters — from power system architecture, power distribution box (PDBs) to intelligent power integration platforms. You will work at the intersection of power electronics, embedded firmware, and system architecture to deliver high-efficiency solutions that support the rapidly evolving power demands of AI data center.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), power electronics or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in power electronics, power systems, or related fields.
- Candidates with additional experience may be considered at the Senior Engineer level.
- Tools Expertise: Highly proficient in mainstream EDA tools, specifically Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer.
- Good at the design tools for simulations, such as Simetrix/Simplis, Mathcad, PLECS or PSIM.
- Hands-on Skills: Strong manual soldering and rework skills.
- Ability to use basic shop tools for mechanical modifications.
- Power Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of power converter topologies (LLC, DAB, PFC) and the control algorithm for soft-switching and hard-switching converter.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of the advanced PCBA fabrication processes (stack-up design, copper weight, plating, via technologies) and DFM rules.
