About the role

As Senior Manager, Communications, you will be responsible for taking our internal and external Corporate Communications efforts to the next level. The selected candidate will report to the VP of Communications and manage a team member. The ability to bring innovative communications approaches, operate in a dynamic environment, display strong business partnering capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communications skills are important aspects of this role. In compliance with applicable state and local laws, Lamb Weston has opted to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree, required.
  • 10+ years of experience in communication position, required.
  • Previous experience in a communications agency setting, global publicly traded company and/or food and agriculture communications experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing people
  • Experience developing and executing strategic communication programs
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into readily understandable language and engaging storylines
  • Prior experience pitching and placing earned media stories
  • understanding of media relations strategies and tactics
  • Strong experience partnering with a variety of business stakeholders, able to influence and counsel executives and cross-departmental groups
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to bring together different views, goals, and needs to find alignment and deliver business value.
