About the role

United Steel is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators with 2-3 years' experience. Safely operate simple machines and uses overhead cranes and other material handling devices. Work performed requires experience, initiative, and the ability to perform regular duties under minimal supervision. Assist and interact with other department and engineering personnel during the course of duties.

What you'll bring

• Associate degree (A.
• A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
• or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have computer skills including knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Must have good oral and written skills.
• Superior customer service skills, time management skills and the ability to multi-task, follow directions, and quickly learn new tasks, are essential.
