About the role

$70,000 – $80,000 annually   or   $30.00 – $35.00 per hour   (based on experience) Firma Contracting is currently seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a Water & Sewer or Heavy Civil Construction background to support underground infrastructure projects in the Edmonton area. The successful candidate will assist with project coordination, procurement, documentation, cost tracking, and communication to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What you'll bring

• Minimum of 2–5 years of Project Coordination experience in Water & Sewer or Heavy Civil Construction.
• Experience supporting underground utility or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience with material procurement and supplier coordination.
• Experience tracking project schedules, costs, and project performance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset.
• Experience with project management or construction management software is considered an asset.
