About the role
This position requires regular travel throughout the USA, primarily Nevada, Arizona, and California. The Operations Manager will manage a team of Field Supervisors and will help oversee the successful completion of drilling projects across the United States. The incumbent will manage the day to day drilling operations, assisting in the achievement of key performance targets, through operational excellence, cost management, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of Supervisory experience is required.
- 5+ years of drilling experience is required.
- MSHA safety certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license (personal and CDL) is required.
- Ability to comply with Health and Safety Management Systems and procedures.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site.
- Strong problem-solving and initiative skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, influencing skills to build strong relationships, and network effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients and partners.
- Ability to read and interpret utility plans and general contracts.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
