About the role
As an Emergency Department Lead , you’ll work alongside our clinical team while providing hands-on leadership and support throughout each shift.
What you'll bring
- Active Washington State LVT license or ability to obtain licensure through credential transfer
- 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Emergency veterinary experience required
- 1+ year of previous lead or leadership experience
- Proficiency in emergency triage and critical patient nursing
- Strong emergency and critical care technical skills
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members
- Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize patient care and team needs in a fast-paced ER environment
- Specialty and/or 24-hour emergency hospital experience
- RECOVER CPR certification
- Experience coordinating ER patient flow or shift operations
