RTX is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of advanced aerospace and defense systems, including radar and electronic warfare technologies. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines to design, code, integrate, and maintain real‑time embedded software used in critical airborne platforms. This position offers the chance to grow technical skills, work on complex, mission‑driven projects, and contribute to creating a safer, more connected world. The Software Engineer will take direction from software leads and other engineering authorities in support of the radar systems and/or self-protection software development.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in the following areas: Programming in C and/or C++, Calculus for Engineers and Scientists
- Candidate should be proficient with general purpose computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous Software related co-op / internship experience
- Real-Time Embedded programming
- Software Engineering / Software life cycle
- Agile/Lean development techniques
- Software Integration
- Assembly language
- Signal Processing
