About the role

Perform functional, compatibility and dimensional inspection of components and finished products; initiated through Field Sales, Customer Service or Product Development. Document and report all observations and results to originator of lab request. As required, assist with making product development samples.

• · Two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training.
• · Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• · Strong oral and written communication skills.
• · Basic computer skills to include working with Microsoft Office and Windows based programs.
• · Proficient in the operation or use of the following equipment: balance scale, stereo and video microscope, torque tester, laboratory gauges, calipers and micrometers, viscometer, drill press, arbor press and customized equipment used for testing.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
