About the role

The Meat Merchandiser involves supporting daily operations in a meat department. Key responsibilities include stocking and rotating products, pricing items, preparing and packaging meats, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and effectively respond to the data.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, customers, employees, or others involved or associated in the Meat section function.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts relevant to the role such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A valid health certificate or ability to obtain a certification is required for this position.
• General knowledge of basic accounting a plus.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
