About the role

Position: USC GEAR UP Lead Success Coach The Lead Success Coach plays a vital role in ensuring smooth delivery of GEAR UP programming. In addition to teaching middle and high school students, the Lead is responsible for coordinating Success Coach schedules, collecting and managing attendance sheets, and providing coverage when a Success Coach is unable to attend a session. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to model professionalism for both students and Success Coaches.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage students in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with the college admissions process.
• Ability to manage schedules and documentation with attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned school sites.
• Experience coordinating or leading peers in a school or program setting.
• Teaching or tutoring experience with middle or high school students.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning and instructional design.
