About the role
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations supporting the build of composite airframe structures and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) . This role is responsible for supervising technicians, driving execution to the production schedule, and ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering, quality, and configuration control requirements. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
What you'll bring
- 3-5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role such as Production Supervisor or equivalent shop-floor team leadership position
- Experience supporting composite fabrication, structural assembly, mechanical integration, or final assembly in an aerospace production environment
- Experience with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and AS9100 / ISO9001 quality standards.
- Experience with manufacturing software systems (e.g., JIRA, ERP/MRP, MES, PLM).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, assembly documentation, and workmanship standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across production, engineering, quality, planning, and program teams
- Ability to work extended hours or alternate shifts as needed to support production schedules
- Experience supporting new product introduction, low-rate initial production, or production ramp in unmanned or flight vehicle programs
- Knowledge of configuration management, nonconformance reporting, RCCA, and traceability requirements for aerospace hardware
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar aerospace quality management systems
- Experience leading teams in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
