About the role

Mach Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the industrialization of our products for high-rate production. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Engineering, Build Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations teams to design, validate, and launch high-volume manufacturing systems using cutting-edge Manufacturing Engineering techniques. This role is focused on building at scale— delivering reliable hardware at speed. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing flexible, adaptable manufacturing systems that enable rapid production at scale. Working with a world-class engineering team, you will bridge the gap between design and rate-manufacturing, delivering solutions that ensure manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and maximum speed of ramp. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial & systems, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrialization roles(internship and school projects experience qualifies).
  • Strong background in process documentation and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and process capability.
  • Hands-on experience with shop floor processes (machining, welding, composites, additive manufacturing, assembly, test).
  • Experience designing components and assemblies through first-principles application of DFM/A strategies.
  • Experience using first-principles approach to solving complex engineering problems.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing System Optimization strategies in high-volume production environments.
  • Proficient in CAD
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Bar-raising analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
