About the role

This position will involve supporting manufacturing operations for the Light Duty (LD) Production organization. LD Production consists of two primary process groups: slurry preparation and substrate coating. The Manufacturing Engineer supports daily operations to ensure safe, timely, cost effective, and high quality production output. The candidate will work with the Operations Group to optimize daily production.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Required
• 5+ years related process or manufacturing engineering experience
• Project management skills and process analysis that promotes productivity and process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical writing skills
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
• Ingenuity to creatively introduce new technologies, including process controls and computer systems, which improve operations and reduce plant costs
