About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Analyst for our client, a $350M+ recognized and viable leader in the business services industry on a full-time, permanent basis. The Sr. Quality Analyst will play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of business processes, business systems, data, and end-user experience for new and existing business systems. The Sr. Quality Analyst will work closely with customers, business partners, project managers, and team members in pursuit of business process and software quality solutions. The role is responsible to manage requirements and testing processes, develop routine test cases, test scripts, and coordinate testing efforts for all assigned projects. The Sr. Quality Analyst must have a strong understanding of both technology and business and must be comfortable performing quality assurance for both.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or similar discipline, including experience as a testing lead with large scale client server and/or web-based application testing efforts
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and experience being a liaison for project managers and senior leadership for all testing activities
  • Expert in building relationships with technical and non-technical peers throughout the company to integrate testing activities
  • Comfortable working with customers, vendors, and clients external to the organization in order to ensure quality goals are met
  • Experience working with high volumes of data
  • Keen understanding of graphical user interface design
  • Advanced understanding of test strategy development, test planning, defect reporting and test case design techniques for complex products
  • Thorough understanding testing approaches and concepts, such as unit testing, functional testing, system testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, performance testing, security testing and Agile development
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall and RUPP software development practices and methodologies, version control practices and defect management practices
  • Able to interpret technical and software testing concepts to internal non-technical audiences as well as clients
  • Expertise in Microsoft Offices Suite (emphasis on Excel and Word) to organize information and develop influential communications
  • Required: Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience
