About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Layout Technician / Construction Surveyor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing electrical construction layout using Trimble robotic total stations and GNSS equipment on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with accurate field layout, point staking, as-built collection, and coordination with project management and field operations to ensure successful project execution. This position requires frequent travel to active construction sites and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Candidates should be comfortable working closely with field personnel, engineers, and project teams to maintain production schedules and layout accuracy. What you'll bring

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction layout, electrical layout, or land surveying
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site plans
• Basic understanding of coordinate systems, control points, and field measurements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field
• Ability to work outdoors in varying jobsite conditions
• Robotic Total Stations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Experience with Trimble Field Link, Trimble Access, or Trimble Connect
• Electrical construction experience is a plus
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or data center projects
• Knowledge of as-built documentation and point management workflows
• GNSS Rovers and Base Stations
