What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in BESS or complex electromechanical system development and integration.
- Strong experience with electrical systems, energy storage, controls, and power electronics.
- Experience working across multiple OEMs and integrators.
- Proven ability to support fielded systems and post‑installation troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with BESS standards such as UL 9540 / 9540A and applicable electrical codes.
- · Experience with BESS safety standards and compliance, including UL 9540 / 9540A NFPA 855, NFPA 110 / 111, NFPA 72, NFPA 68 / 69.
- Willingness to travel to factories and project sites (≈25%).
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience with utility‑scale BESS deployments.
- Hands‑on experience with battery and electrical test equipment.
