About the role
Stanley Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to strengthen our water practice and support municipal clients throughout Iowa. The Project Manager will lead the planning, design, and delivery of water projects for municipal utilities throughout Iowa. This position requires comprehensive oversight of all project phases, from initial planning and design development through construction administration and project closeout.
What you'll bring
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in either Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with no less than 2 years’ experience working with project teams as project manager.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Iowa is required
- or must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
- Previous experience having been in responsible charge of designs, including detailed plans and specifications.
- Must have a basic understanding of the multi-disciplined practices (i.e. process, surveying, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control) required for the implementation of water/wastewater infrastructure improvements.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
