Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst III Performs activities relating to planning, designing, building, maintaining, and operating the firewalls associated with Exelon Nuclear’s secure network infrastructure across the Nuclear fleet, along with required processes and procedures to ensure cyber security compliance for Nuclear.. The preferred location for this position is the Exelon Nuclear Facility in Kennett Square, PA, however Baltimore, MD and Warrenville IL are also possible..
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline and typically 7 to 10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience in configuring and managing Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls and other network equipment with a detailed understanding of security configurations.
- Experience and developing and evaluating firewall rule requests
- Very Knowledgeable with Local Area Network (LAN) Technology and family of Ethernet and VPN, IPSec, and L3 Firewalls.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and work effectively with customers by e-mail, instant messaging (IM), phone and in-person.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required Nuclear background investigations
- Network related certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Security related certification(
- Solid experience evaluating security technologies and solutions in support of the acquisition and deployment of security software, systems, and services.
- Ability to work with all staffing departments to assimilate technical guidance and incorporate it into plans and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge, and practical application of cyber and information security principles to business leaders and technical staff.
