About the role

We are transforming Finance at MPS. We are looking for candidates who can help us build the future. We are investing in the systems, data, and automation that will allow us to scale the business. We are looking to grow our team with true builders that have an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be part of the foundation team that is designing, building, and implementing systems and automated workflows across Finance.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in a role combining data/systems work with finance or accounting exposure.
• A builder mindset demonstrated.
• Examples of having independently designed, built, or automated a tool, process, or system will be required.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach: comfortable defining your own roadmap, working through ambiguity, and driving projects from idea to production with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency with Databricks and one or more data analysis/visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx, or SQL (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), plus advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data warehousing, database management, and/or data modeling.
• Familiarity with utilizing LLMs/AI tools in workflows.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong desire and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
• Experience with Enterprise Financial Forecasting/EPM tools (Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan, Planful) is a plus.
