About the role

The Infusion Nurse is responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care through the administration of intravenous and injectable specialty medications, including biologics, in an ambulatory clinic setting. This role supports patients throughout their treatment journey by conducting pre‑treatment assessments, safely administering therapies, monitoring adverse reactions, and providing patient education to promote independence and treatment adherence. Using sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and therapeutic communication, the Infusion Nurse collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary partners to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with provincial nursing standards, Health Canada guidelines, and organizational policies.

What you'll bring

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and good standing with the applicable provincial College of Nurses in Canada.
  • Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience
  • Infusion certification or demonstrated hands‑on IV infusion experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience administering biologics, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical therapies.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Experience managing infusion‑related adverse events.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, and patient education skills.
  • Experience using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
  • Ability to work across multiple clinic locations within a defined region.
