The Director of Digital Payments develops strategy and vision for the digital payments function and aligns operational goals with the Bank’s strategic objectives. This position monitors the payments industry and the trends and habits of our customers, confirming alignment with the Bank’s strategic goals. The Director of Digital Payments ensures alignment with the Bank’s strategic goals through cross-functional collaboration, system optimization, and team development. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission.

What you'll bring

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience in payments to include online and mobile banking, ACH, ATM, debit card, credit cards, wires, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
  • Strong knowledge of electronic payment products, services, operations and industry trends
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge and expertise to electronic payment policies and procedures using knowledge of banking principles and practices
  • Ability to strategically prioritize work efforts for self and management if needed
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through
