About the role

This role is responsible for actively engaging with our third-party administrators to provide claim oversight, submission of claims, engaging with defense counsel, extensive oversight of our return-to-work program, engaging with clients and vendors, and efficiently driving claims to closure.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of workers' compensation claims experience,and through understanding of return-to-work programs.
• Working knowledge of claims handling and work-related injuries.
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of claims handling software.
• Experience with the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, policy and procedure manuals, legal documents, and government regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
