The Social Media Manager owns how True Anomaly shows up, day to day, on the platforms where the domain is being defined in real time. This is the person who lives on the feed: setting the social strategy, building the calendar, writing in the company's voice, and shipping content that earns True Anomaly a place in the conversation about space, defense, and national security.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years running social and community for a brand, with demonstrable results
• audience growth, engagement, and a clear connection to business or mission impact, backed by metrics rather than anecdotes
• A strong writer first.
• This role lives or dies on voice, and True Anomaly's external standard is high.
• You write clearly, directly, and without hedging
• Real platform fluency
• you understand what each channel rewards, you can read what's working, and you adapt fast without chasing every trend
• Comfortable being the whole function today and building it tomorrow.
• You want to own the strategy and do the work, and you find a blank slate energizing rather than daunting
• Comfortable working directly with C-suite on their social presence - you can earn an executive's trust, advise on voice and timing, and ghostwrite convincingly while helping them build a real audience
• Sound judgment and high discretion.
• Social sits in public, close to sensitive topics in defense and national security. you know what to post, what to hold, and when to escalate
