About the role
Cenero is looking for a Project Engineer to perform as part of its engineering team in overseeing Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and IT Solutions systems from conceptualization to completion. He/She would be responsible for reviewing complex scopes of work and bills of materials and drafting signal flow schematics and AV system, power and data requirements. The Project Engineer will assist the project manager, programmer, and installation technicians in solving technical issues that may arise during the implementation phase, providing change orders as needed. Handling multiple tasks on a daily basis, he/she will respond quickly and accurately to requests for assistance. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3-5 years AV engineering experience and/or training
- Knowledge of acoustical design and integration is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills
- Possesses ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
- Ability to prioritize and possess excellent problem solving skills
- CTS certification is preferred
- Experience with block creation and dynamic blocks a plus
- Experience with 3D room renderings a plus
- Additional manufacturer specific certifications (Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Polycom) is preferred
