About the role
As a Verification & Validation Engineer - Equipment Qualification , you will join our Systems Engineering team supporting the verification and validation of power station systems and equipment within the Nuclear project. You will provide technical leadership for complex, safety-critical and business-critical areas of the power station design. The role focuses on developing verification strategies, defining evidence requirements and leading activities that demonstrate design compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle. You will work closely with design engineers, technical specialists, safety teams and external suppliers to ensure that verification evidence is generated, reviewed and assessed in accordance with regulatory, technical and programme requirements.
What you'll bring
- Strong experience in verification and validation within regulated or safety-critical industries
- Experience developing V&V strategies, plans and compliance approaches
- Experience defining and managing verification activities including testing, analysis and qualification
- Ability to assess evidence against system requirements and demonstrate compliance
- Experience managing complex engineering projects and technical scope
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Experience managing suppliers and external technical interfaces
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management
- Ability to manage technical uncertainty and evolving requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience conducting technical reviews and providing constructive feedback
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical.
