About the role

As a Manager of Project Management at Capital One, you will help initiate strategy and lead execution on high priority projects for the company. This individual will be responsible for managing projects and initiatives that cut across product teams to identify key risks and dependencies, facilitate and engage in strategic problem solving, and provide clear, concise and actionable reporting and communication on the status of each body of work. They should have a bias for action, identifying opportunities for optimization or acceleration within processes and take initiative to quickly implement. Candidates for this role will have demonstrated they can manage complex and technically-oriented projects, communicate effectively to senior levels, and connect dots across teams, stakeholders and customers to avoid delays and identify opportunities to accelerate work. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of delivering highly complex solutions end to end, rigorous organization skills, and a passion for delivering customer value.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 8 Years of Project Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

• Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
• Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
• Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
• Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
