About the role
Milton CAT is looking for a Project Manager in the Power Systems Division. In this position, there will be training and transition time available to the candidate selected for this position. Ultimately, this position will provide comprehensive management of power generation projects from receipt of purchase through customer acceptance, including timely, cost effective management of multiple projects to meet customer expectations. They will organize, schedule, coordinate, communicate and lead others to execute projects. Milton CAT is looking for a Project Manager in the Power Systems Division. - Strong electrical and mechanic aptitude.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of diesel engine, electrical power generation, power distribution including engine generator sets, system integration design, assembly, installation, commissioning, operation, repair, paralleling switchgear and transfer switches, fuel systems, exhaust systems, enclosures and ancillary equipment.
- Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, including blueprints.
- Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to assess customer needs and evaluate customer satisfaction.
- High proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
