About the role

ISS STOXX is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Java and React)  to join our team in Mumbai (Goregaon East), India We’re seeking a driven and technically grounded Software Engineer (3–5 years of experience) to join our Engineering team and help build the next generation of our full-stack platform. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and ship features across the entire stack—using a modern, integrated toolchain including Java, React, Node.js, Hasura, PostgreSQL, Nhost, and Docker.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Backend: Java / Node.js
• Frontend: React
• Database: PostgreSQL (including schema design and performance optimization)
• API & Services: GraphQL, Hasura, NHOST
• Containerization: Docker
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai) and a commitment to writing testable code.
• Proficiency with version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• preferably Git.
