About the role

Definian Data LLC and its subsidiary PIE Data Specialists Pvt Ltd have the need for an Accounts Payable Associate on the Finance team. In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager (US) and work closely with the Senior Staff Accountant (India) as a crucial role to provide accurate and timely financial processing. The Accounts Payable Associate is expected to maintain internal controls and support for financial transactions.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or business
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including Vlookup, Xlookup, and Pivot tables
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS compliance and filing requirements
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent written/verbal English communication skills
• A self-starter mentality with ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize independent judgment
• Problem-solving skills with a drive to implement continuous improvements

• Familiarity with financial systems and MS Office applications
• 1–2 years of relevant accounts payable experience preferred
• Intacct and Tally preferred
