About the role

AECOM is actively seeking a motivated, hands-on Construction Materials & Quality Control Technician / Field Runner to support major transportation infrastructure projects throughout Utah. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and long-term performance of roadway and transportation improvements for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and other public agency clients. In this role, you will support construction teams by performing materials testing, documenting quality control activities, coordinating field operations, and assisting project staff with the collection and delivery of samples, reports, and project-related materials. What you'll bring

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related experienc e, or demonstrated equivalency through a combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
• SRDTT Concrete Testing Certification.
• Prior UDOT construction inspection or materials testing experience.
• Previous experience working with a municipal, county, or state transportation agency.
• Experience performing construction materials testing and quality control documentation.
• Familiarity with roadway, bridge, and transportation construction projects.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
