About the role

The Manager of Quality Assurance will oversee the activity of the QA department and team, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes. The Company provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

What you'll bring

• Solid understanding of the Federal Aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, methods, techniques, and practices contained in the applicable manufacturers' maintenance and alteration documents, and other data acceptable to, or approved by the FAA
• Ability to provide direction/leadership and receive feedback from others on the management team
• Ability to read and interpret technical data, repair drawings, and/or engineering drawings
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, specifically 14 CFR Part 21, 43, 65, 91, and 145
• Experience in or familiar with research of aircraft historical records and logbooks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and organized
• Directs and provides expert knowledge in the day-to-day function of the department.
