Personal Care Aides are responsible for providing, restoring, maintaining, and promoting the health status of the clients through home support, medical monitoring, client transportation services, and assistance with activities of daily living. Our team members are expected to lead by example - maintaining a positive attitude; being a thoughtful, supportive, productive and dependable co-worker; keeping our members safe; and always working to enhance the health and happiness of the people we serve and those who care for them.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age for positions not requiring any driving for clients
- At least 21 yrs of age for any positions requiring driving/running errands for clients
- For positions that involve driving for client (i.e. errands/Dr. appointments): Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation and proof of vehicle registration and insurance are required
- Prior experience working seniors and/or adults
- Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
- able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members.
- Current Home Health Aid and/or C.N.A certification preferred
- Minimum one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred.
- special needs preferred.
