About the role
Spicer Group is seeking an experienced construction Field Manager to support construction administration and inspection services on a variety of public and private infrastructure projects. This position serves as a key on-site representative, observing work in progress to verify conformance with plans and specifications; interpreting requirements related to materials and workmanship; documenting daily inspection activities; and communicating field conditions, issues, and progress to the Project Manager and Construction Manager. The Field Manager works independently on projects with complex features, collaborates in project meetings, coordinates with clients and contractors as a liaison, and prepares sketches and record information to incorporate field changes into master plans while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and company standards. What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering field
- Ability to possess and maintain required industry certifications based on region
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Construction inspection experience, preferable in the areas of municipal, utility, and transportation infrastructure
