About the role
The Sr. Manager, Corporate Development will support the M&A team to execute inorganic initiatives across IDEX's global portfolio of companies across various markets. This role will manage and provide support for key phases of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments, joint ventures, and divestitures for IDEX, including transaction strategy structuring, valuation, due diligence and contract negotiations. As a core member of the M&A team, this role will manage a complex diligence process to make determinations as to the financial, operational and strategic viabilities for the Company and its various business units.
What you'll bring
- J.D. or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Finance
- Experience with Capital IQ, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, effective review of SEC filings and equity research
- Strong interpersonal skills including presentation capabilities and the ability to work effectively with various levels of management
- Ability to make logical and effective recommendations based on ambiguous data
- Comfortable working in a high performing team environment
- Brings a high level of energy and curiosity
