About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to help design our AWS Analytics Platform. Reporting into our Product Manager you'll help create a secure, scalable and automated cloud platform that enables engineering teams to deliver data products and business-critical services safely. Working with our product, Security, Architecture and Engineering teams, you'll help shape the future of our cloud platform by improving developer experience, increasing automation across our AWS estate. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

What you'll bring

• Hands-on AWS experience and experience building high-quality cloud platforms and production environments.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient production cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational support skills.
• Building cloud platforms that improve developer productivity.
• Implementing monitoring, observability and operational tooling.
• DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, Load balancing, Firewalls, Hybrid networking concepts
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
• Experience developing reusable infrastructure modules.
