About the role

As an Architectural Designer at Ware Malcomb, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of site planning concepts by performing zoning code research, coordinating architectural and civil drawings, designing, and reviewing site plans for new and existing land developments.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of experience in the field of Commercial Architectural Design.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Knowledge of computer software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Ability to research current local zoning ordinances and regulations.
  • Ability to read drawings regarding site conditions such as civil drawings, topography, and wetland maps.
  • Knowledge of site planning principles and practices such as vehicle circulation and land drainage.
  • Ability to design and draw site plans.
  • This is a full-time, long-term position.
