About the role

Supervise the sanitation groups and provide hands on leadership for the implementation and coordination of sanitation programs. This is a working Supervisor position, in which the Supervisor performs the same cleaning tasks, side-by-side the crew while supervising. Fills in for tasks and duties when crew members are absent; must be flexible with hours and days to assure required tasks are completed on time and with minimal risk to the food safety program.

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate MS Office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred
• associate's or bachelor's degree in food science, industrial hygiene, environmental health, manufacturing, or related field preferred
