What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California.
- Ability to proactively communicate and lead department staff.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility.
- Experience with business development and client relations.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects
- well-versed in all aspects of project development.
