About the role
We are looking for a Data Engineer who is passionate about building modern data platforms and helping organisations unlock the value of their data. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and optimising data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies, enabling our clients to make better decisions and drive meaningful business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at the forefront of Microsoft's data platform ecosystem, helping to establish industry-leading data engineering practices while working with clients across a wide range of sectors. As a client-facing consultant, you will work directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges, gather and refine requirements, and translate these into effective technical solutions. You will facilitate discovery activities, contribute to solution architecture and design decisions, participate in workshops, and provide trusted advice on data strategy, platform architecture, security, governance and DevOps best practices. You will be expected to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, helping clients make informed decisions and maximise the value of their data investments. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who is comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary project teams, with a strong foundation in modern cloud-based data platforms and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
