About the role

Amentum is seeking a Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer based out of our Richland, WA office.

What you'll bring

• Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.
• Demonstrated keen attention to detail.
• Alternate combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, engineering, math, or science with minimum of 4-5 years of Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) experience is required or 5 years of equivalent technical experience in place of a B.S.
• Involvement in industry committees preferred (e.g., ANS).
• Min of 3 years of DOE-specific experience is highly preferred
• Nuclear Engineering degree preferred
