About the role

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Nuclear Safety Engineer Supervisor to support projects remotely out of Aiken, SC or Richland, WA office. The Nuclear Safety Engineer Supervisor will be responsible for managing the Nuclear Safety Engineering team to meet customer and project requirements regarding scope, scheduling and budgets.

What you'll bring

• BS/BA in engineering or equivalent technical discipline and 6+ years of relevant work experience
• MS/MA in engineering or equivalent technical discipline and 4+ years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years in supervisory role
• Intermediate level of knowledge within a specific discipline and an understanding of other disciplines.
• Good communication and analytical skills
• knowledgeable about Microsoft Office applications.
• Individuals must be capable of obtaining a DOE site security badge.
• The position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• dual Citizenship is not permitted.
• Position may require travel.
• Demonstrating familiarity with DOE Nuclear Safety Analysis requirements, including DOE-STD-3009.
