About the role
You will be accountable for engineering of the Client Industrial Cloud infrastructure framework in support of the Predix platform, with a focus on delivery of automated deployment, monitoring, and remediation capabilities for cloud services at web scale, in fully virtualized IaaS and PaaS operating environments.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, cloud/online service engineering/automation or cloud/online service operations
- Deep experience with at least one third generation automation and configuration management solution such as Chef
- Advanced scripting skills using Python and Bash
- Experience with implementing monitoring tools such as Nagios, Graphite, Zabbix, etc.
