About the role

Join us to design and deploy next-generation, satellite-based radar that delivers persistent, all-weather, day-night sensing at global scale. You’ll build end-to-end capabilities—from waveform design, on-board processing, classification and calibration—for systems on LEO platforms. Working across RF hardware, phased arrays, and advanced DSP, you’ll turn raw echoes into decision-ready products. If you thrive at the intersection of electromagnetics, signal processing, and systems engineering—and want your code and designs to fly—this role is for you. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our success. Our team members have a strong sense of dedication and responsibility; this includes a strong commitment to our mission to create an entirely new suite of global capabilities to improve lives, business efficiencies and build a smarter planet. This means that there will be times when extra hours, including nights and weekends, may be needed to meet critical deadlines and mission goals. In return, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth industry.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in radar simulation or a closely related field.
  • Strong foundation in digital signal processing, radar theory (e.g., range-Doppler, pulse compression), and target detection methodologies.
  • Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent environments.
  • Experience with radar systems design, performance analysis, and field testing.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills—strong team collaborator who can also work independently.
  • Experience with advanced target detection/classification techniques, e.g., CFAR, STAP, machine-learning-based classifiers.
  • Familiarity with phased-array radar architectures, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), moving target indication (MTI), or related subsystems.
  • Hands-on experience with software-defined radar platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, VHDL/Verilog, or FPGA-focused languages).
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office.
  • The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
