About the role
Due to significant growth, Array is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong ERP experience, deep knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and proven experience supporting complex, contract manufacturing environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Procurement, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management to support product launches, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive data-driven improvements across the shop floor. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Scarborough manufacturing facility , working 5 days per week. As our new Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
What you'll bring
- Strong ERP experience
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- The manufacturing experience
- Experience in a contract manufacturing or discrete manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience supporting Make-to-Order or Engineer-to-Order operations
- Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and product launches through formal gate review processes
- Experience interpreting CAD drawings and applying data analysis for process optimization
- Daily, hands-on use of
- Proven experience conducting time studies, labor analysis, and cost analysis
- Exposure to Kaizen, Lean, Continuous Improvement, or CI team initiatives
- Ability to translate data into practical, shop-floor improvements
- P.Eng is an asset
