This role is a Senior Associate level opportunity in the Global Client Group at Brookfield Asset Management with the focus being to work closely with the client relationship managers (“CRMs”) in their goal to raise capital for the Brookfield Global Client Group and support all aspects of fund marketing activities and the full life cycle of the client relationships. The Senior Associate will work across all asset classes that Brookfield specializes in (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy, Private Equity, Private Credit) and stretch across all parts of the fundraising process (marketing activities, direct client communications, research, client / prospect due diligence). This role will give early exposure to institutional fundraising in the alternatives industry.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline
• Native in Korean is essential and Fluency in English
• 7-9 years of experience in private equity investments (LP or GP), fund marketing, due diligence, sales, client services or other fundraising or client function
• Experience dealing with Korean Investors on alternative products
• Strong understanding of the fundraising process (from early-stage dialogue to process completion)
• Demonstrated ability to manage investor meetings as required and to identify cross selling opportunities.
• Required understanding of corporate valuations, competitive landscape and positioning of funds
• Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background
• Experience working in an international organization and team
• Ability to understand and anticipate client needs
• Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience
• Team player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to work
