About the role
Cricut is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Product Quality Engineer – Materials to lead quality planning and validation for Cricut materials, including adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), printable coatings, specialty films, and related consumables with a heavy focus on material/machine interactions. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans that ensure new and existing materials meet Cricut’s performance, reliability, machine compatibility, and user-experience standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in product development and understands how to translate customer use cases into measurable, repeatable validation methods. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in product quality, materials engineering, or product development.
- Experience developing and executing formal test plans and validation protocols.
- Strong understanding of materials performance testing (adhesives, films, coatings, textiles, polymers).
- Experience with statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methods.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced product development environment.
